Invitation to Join COMUS 2011-2012 
Dear COMUS Members and Guests, Past and Present,
 
   Greetings COMUS revelers! Thank you for your past membership in our unique fun Dinner Dance Club. Your presence has made COMUS extra special. Although our last season was challenging financially, your volunteer COMUS Board feels that it was a successful experience for everyone.  We hope to continue this coming year with another wonderful season of fine food, dancing and friendship.
 

In order to maintain the $600 per couple cost for the upcoming COMUS season, we need 35 couples to join and send in their checks by Oct. 1st. This will ensure that we will have 4 dances again this season. Unfortunately, if we don’t have 35 couples joined by Oct. 1st, it will be necessary to cancel COMUS for the 2011-2012 year. None of us want this to happen, so please join COMUS, and encourage your friends to do the same!

 

Guest Substitution Policy: All member couples must pay the $600 membership fee, but if you are unable to attend a dance, you may invite another couple to take your place for that dance. For table seating, the names of the guests need to be emailed to comusdance@yahoo.com by the Tuesday before the dance.

 

Guest Dance Fees: Payments for guest couples accompanying member couples for the Dec. 16th Guest Dance are the responsibility of the members who invite the guests. Payment of $175 per guest couple must be received by the Treasurer, Stan Heimburger, prior to the dance. For table seating, the names of the guests need to be emailed to comusdance@yahoo.com by the Tuesday before the dance.

               March 16, 2012                                                        Formal Dance 

 

Possible 5th dance: 

Option 1: If 55 couples join COMUS this season, an informal Hawaiian themed fifth dance has

been tentatively scheduled for April 29th for all COMUS members at no additional cost.

Option 2: If less than 55 couples join, but 20 couples are willing to pay $750 for the season, this scheduled fifth dance will be held for the couples who have paid the extra for it.
